Barenreiter Urtext

I would like to dance a Gigue. and then drink a glass of sparkling cranberry apple cider. oh, indeed i do. i am in my piano literature class right now, learning about Bach and the Well-Tempered Clavier. I really like Bach's music even though it kind of gets a bit redundant at times. Last week we talked about how when Baroque music first made it's entrance back in the day, it was considered a very emotional. Today baroque music is considered very metrical and stiff by many people, and this is why it is usually played metrical and stiff. Granted, there should definitely be a strong beat, but it shouldn't be completely stripped of emotion, because that was how it was originally intended for it to be played.

Anyways . . . i'm wearing the red pointy suede shoes today from Main Place Christian Thrift Store. Speaking of thrift stores, does anybody know what is supposed to be worn to the barn dance? do you basically just match the person you are going with? i would like to know.

I need to get going. ta-ta.
