my eyeballs feel like gak. my body feels like a potato sack. im not trying to rhyme. but it's happening every time. weeeeeeird. ok - i am having major flow of consciousness right now, so i apologize for the interjectory phrases and thoughts that just might intrude this post. has anyone else ever watched Colby the Computer? you know, the Christian technology box on roller skates? He sings songs and has two accomplices called "The Diagnostic Discs". And during every song, there's always some random kid in the corner playing the keytar with a mohawk.
i made and ate the best pancakes today. recipe: one cup of pancake mix + one can of creamed corn = a rave in your mouth. so wildly delicious.
right now is a very teeter-totter time of life. i keep going back to that one scene in Into the Wild where Alex Supertramp is running around with the horses and saying how his days being penniless are just so much more exciting. ive definitely got the penniless thing going on, so as soon as the exciting part arrives, you'll be the first to know.
actually my life is exciting. this last week and a half, the phrase that continues to pop into my life is "your citizenship is in heaven". i keep hearing and seeing it everywhere.
tomorrow is my last day working at RVP. today i had to say goodbye to some of my favorite students, Venus and Ricardo. Such randomly cool names. Such randomly cool kids.
my favorite thing of the day:
Venus: Are you going to miss her, Ricardo?
RIcardo: Yeaah...
Venus: Yeah, me too.
this last week, i have been telling all of my students that i am leaving. A few of them started laughing uncontrollably, like i had just handed them a second chance at life. interesting.
and with all of this, i bid you a good night. tomorrow i need to be productive.
