recently (as in yesterday) i happened upon a very good looking man. some of you may be acquainted with all his glory, some of you unfamiliar. really, does it matter? (ladylike chuckling inserted here). anyways...here is his picture...

Alright, everyone. a moment of silence. two moments, please.
Ahhh.
i watched Anne of Avonlea yesterday and fell in love with this dashing young gentleman whom all of us have come to know as the one and only Gilbert Blythe. He's probably ancient in real life by now, but we keep him young in our hearts, don't we? But seriously folks, he's beautiful. simply breathtaking. i so wish that when we start life, we were at least given the choice as to which era in which we would most like to live. i would have picked the "Anne" era. i think it's mid to late 1800's. I could definitely be wrong. Oh well. But I'd pick it nonetheless. That or the Jane Austen era. That would have been amazing. All you do all day is get dressed up to sit inside and read. Maybe you take a stroll down the lane. But basically...you don't really exercise...you go to parties and balls and meet gentleman and try to find one suitable enough to marry. sounds kind of lame when you put it out like that....actually it sounds kind of boring. especially if you were an only child, heaven help us. yes, i'd definitely choose the Anne era over the Jane Austen era. plus, who else would be Diana?
My mouth has started to hurt again, which means it's time to take those giant pills that make me better and sleepy. by the way, if anyone is interested...I have happened upon a new authoress lately. actually i read one of her books a year ago but never finished it. that doesn't count. i currently finished one and am on to a second of her more recent books. her name is Lisa Samson and i really REALLY like her writing. usually i test my authors by whether or not they repeat words within the same book. you know those authors who find a couple of catch phrases and use them in all of their books? they are to be avoided. (AKA Karen Kingsbury, Melody Carlson and Lois Wick). Melody Carlson is the better of the three...Finding Alice is a great book. So is Looking for Cassandra Jane (sounds kind of redundant, doesn't it?) oh well. it's still good. here is a brief list of my favorite authors. i really need to read more genres but im comfortable where i am...
ray blackston (by far my favorite)
lisa samson
linda halll
francine rivers (sorry...the mark of the lion series is amazing. if you haven't read it, do. now. redeeming love is too cliche and romancey)
jane austen (of course)
C.S. Lewis
and.... JESUS :)
i don't really like any other ones. Actually...I don't really know of any other ones. I've tried to get into some secular authors but i just can't do it...maybe i'll try and tackle Les Miserables next. Why the heck did i ever buy that book on tour? I read ONE PAGE. i'm retarded sometimes.
