apparently a friend of my mom's just got permanent makeup tattooed on her face. i think that is absolutely ridiculous. i would never.
today i went to work and as one of my co-workers were leaving, he waved to me and said "Bye, Natalie!" I pointed to myself and said "But...I'm Janelle..." but he didn't hear me (he was at the other end of the kitchen at this point) so I just smiled politely and waved goodbye.
i've been reading up on some good ol' music theory as of late. learning about reading chords and all of that jazziness. i really want to learn more about music theory. and about piano. and voice. and composition. if only i could pick one. but alas, i cannot. i am having a terrible time at trying to pick what i want to get my master's in. musicology? ethnomusicology? vocal performance? piano performance? collaborative piano? theory pedagogy? AHHHHH! i am at a loss. well, i have narrowed down my graduate school selection to 5 different universities. who knows, i'll most likely add more later on. i've got time, right? well, here they are...

i think my number one pick right now would be Cal Arts, but...these decisions cannot be made now. i haven't even applied. let alone been accepted.

oh, i love you dear janelle, not natalie! i can't wait for you to get here and maybe we can solve those problems together! that is funny that you are looking at those schools because i have been looking at ariz and colo. boulder too! it is a terrible quandary, this figuring out life business. but as HE takes care of the lilies of the field, we can have peace that it will all work out. mmmmiissss youooouououuouou!
