four more days

i usually write these at night, but i'm feeling antsy right now. i'm about to go practice, and then tonight, i've invited a few of my friends to act as a mock audience, so i can try and get over the nerves i know will plague me on saturday. i need to finish my paper tonight (haha. yeah right) and make sure everyone i invited knows about the reception.

in other news - there is a big possibility i might be going to jamaica in a few months. a friend of mine lives there right now - working in an orphanage. as of right now, however, i'm pretty broke and can't even afford to eat (i'm serious), so the plans are sort of frozen until the funds begin to flow. my gift card stash is dwindling. i'm down to P.F. Chang's, Starbucks and Target. i gave my jamba juice card to a homeless girl at a gas station because i felt bad for telling her i didn't want to buy any of her bracelets and no, i didn't want to talk to her at all. i handed over my coffee bean gift card as a tip for our waiter at cheesecake factory because neither i nor bri had any cash or any other form of money. it was a little embarrassing. all of my other cards have been used up: panera, sephora, cheesecake factory, wal-mart, borders, barnes and noble, itunes, michael's, and jamba juice (i had two cards).

i also decided that i want to grow an herb garden (like parsley, sage, rosemary and thyme).
