simplicity

I apologize in advance, as my attention must be split between this blog and Madame X, which my sister (and half of me, i guess) are currently watching. Anyways, I am writing to say that I had a fabulous time in Mammoth (Sherwin Creek, to be precise). I went hiking every day, went mountain biking once (during which time my overly cautious nature was exposed to all), jumped in lakes and creeks and bathed in the absence of electricity and the internet. At night, campfires, laughter and jiffy pop.

the above picture was taken at Rainbow Falls, which is about a 2.5 mile hike past Devil's Postpile. It was absolutely glorious. The water was painfully icy cold, but wonderfully refreshing at the same time.

It's surprising how many Australians live in Mammoth.

Okay, Madame X just died. I have to go. My mind can split no longer.

p.s. im going to hume this weekend and to say that i am looking forward to it is a mighty understatement.

p.p.s. The Dark Knight was amazing and Mamma Mia was the biggest joke of my life.

I would LOVE to go to Hume this weekend. Unfortunately, family stuff is taking me to Ventura county. I hope you have a splendid time!
